One of the most popular releases in 2013 to the dark fantasy genre is the free-to-play game Path of Exile. Players can select one of seven exile classes, each of which offers a distinctive experience and various alignments of the three fundamental attributes (Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence). The Scion is the only class that possesses all three essential qualities. Players in Path of Exile explore a randomly created world that draws inspiration from games like Diablo and others. Items in this game are created at random and feature storage compartments known as “gem sockets,” which contain skill gems. These jewels may be put in sockets on armor, weapons, and even some of the player’s ring options.
Additionally, one type of upgrade that is available to your character are skills, which can impact your game tremendously. These skills often come in the form of gems, and will provide buffs to the player and change the way you interact with enemies and the game’s environment. Skills are a great way to customize your playing experience in Path of Exile, and can be used to modify your experience to the playstyle you like. In this guide, we will explain how to use one of the more complicated skills, Vengeance.

How Do I Get Vengeance to Work in PoE?
Vengeance is a skill that has a very unique feature to it in PoE. Instead of being a skill that affects others when needed, vengeance only triggers when you receive a hit. However, it does not have a guaranteed chance to trigger – the rate being 30% for triggering upon being hit. Therefore, to use the Vengeance gem, you will need to take a hit before it can work.
One way of forcing this to happen is to hit yourself with an attack, instead of letting enemies damage you. Examples of attacks that are perfect for this include cyclone and eye of innocence. Alternatively, use Rage support while you have Boneshatter active. Every Rage gives you a 1% attack damager buff, 0.2% movement speed bonus and an increase of 0.5% attack speed as well. By forcing yourself to take damage and hits, you increase the chances of Vengeance being triggered. This is how you can use the Vengeance skill in Path of Exile to destroy your enemies.
