In order to use the work bench, players will first need to obtain a contraband weapon. These are guns that players can loot from around Al Mazrah, or collected from any dead player you kill. You will need to extract with them at least one time in order for them to be considered contraband. After doing so and hopping into another game, the gun will be ready to use on the workbench.

The contraband work benches are located right next to any buy station. Once you reach one, you will be able to add or remove any attachments you unlocked for any weapon platform. This transaction like the buy station, will cost money you find in game. This essentially creates a scenario where much like loadout crates in Warzone, players who are monetarily inclined can sway the battle in their favor. By providing your weapons with better stats and attachments, it makes extracting all that easier.
