How to Use Antennas in Destiny 2 Lightfall – Loot Guide

Either you are very lucky or just dead.

Have you ever been struck by lightning? Well, I haven’t, buy I guess it is a very, and I mean very serious situation. Burns in the skin, heart failure, death. Now, imagine energy beams that don’t strike at random, but directly on you and will follow you until the end of days. Talk about a miserable existence, am I right? Well, thankfully, we won’t be dealing with those things forever, and you can even get a bit of loot out of the experience! Here is how to use the antennas in Destiny 2 Lightfall.

No, you won’t be able to get satellite cable or internet, in fact you won’t be able to get anything by carrying the antennas, other than, well, hellfire raining down on you. Anyway, to get the antennas, we will have to encounter a specific enemy in Neomuna called the Munitions Psion. You can find them across Neomuna, and he will be carrying the antenna on his back. Defeat him and the antenna will drop.

You will have to carry the antenna to move forwards. Once you do, however, like a tree in the middle of nowhere getting struck by lightning, you will be struck by red blasts coming from the sky. Furthermore, you won’t be safe with a roof on top of you, this blasts apparently just ignore structures and come after you directly. You can use this strikes to get rid of some enemies along the way, but you better just go to the marker in your HUD to deliver this antenna to an object as seen below. Notice the trail of blasts.

The antenna will strike the object and partially destroy it. More specifically, it will destroy the object’s casing, with the object being a chest. Open it to gather the loot inside. There are several chests across Neomuna, so go ahead and collect them by getting blasted to oblivion.

That was intense, right? Anyway, as long as you continue running and jumping, you won’t have any problems. And by problems, I mean obliteration into nonexistence. Just remember to head to the marker in your HUD and avoid any enemy interactions, since you will be specially vulnerable while carrying the antenna. But anyway, I wish you good luck!
