Where is the Horned Statue in Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)?

Horned Statue is located in the center of the Lookout Landing. You need to look for an NPC called Scorpis and talk to him. At the end of your dialogue, he will give a signal and the secret underground location will open.

Take the ladder and go down to explore the underground level that just opened. Look around until you see a small flight of stairs followed by a hole in the wall. Crawl in there and you will find yourself in the Royal Hidden Passage. Now you need to blow up some rock walls so prepare yourself for that with the right gear if you haven’t yet.

After you’ve destroyed the first rock wall you will be faced with two more. One on the left and one on the right. Destroying the wall on the left will take you to a path where you will need to blow up a couple of more walls until you finally reach some loot and precious ore deposits. However, to get to Horned Statue you need to destroy the wall on your right.

How Does Heart for Stamina Swap Work in Tears of the Kingdom?

When you first encounter Horned Statue you need to engage it in a conversation after which it will take one of your hearts away. Ask it to give it back and you will discover that you can trade your Heart Containers for Stamina Vessels.

Here are all the details you should know about the transaction you can do with Horned Statue:

  • You can sell either a Heart Container or a Stamina Vessel to the Horned Statue for 100 Rupees.
  • When you try to get the other one in return, you will need to pay 120 Rupees, which means the transaction costs you only 20 Rupees.
  • You can do this as many times as you like. For example, swap 4 Health for Stamina for a certain quest, and then upon completion return to the Statue and get your Health back.
  • You can’t just go in and buy either Health Container or Stamina Vessel for 120 Rupees. You need to sacrifice one in order to get the other.
  • Note that you need to be healed up when selling your Health Containers. The Statue won’t buy empty ones from you.
