How to Unlock Dual Kodachis in MW2 and Warzone 2

Swords in a gun fight.

Season 2 is bringing quite a decent amount of items and content to both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. One of these are the incredibly aesthetic and, well, deadly Dual Kodachis. These are Japanese short swords that were used by Samurai from the 12th to the 14th century. And of course we will want to get them, now. Here is how to unlock Dual Kodachis in MW2 and Warzone 2.

How to Unlock Dual Kodachis

Using a knife in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is oftentimes a hate magnet. Imagine sporting a huge LMG and then getting killed by a small knife. It was specially frustrating in Gun Game, when it was available. Now, imagine having what are effectively two giant knifes, only deadlier and with improved range. Well, those are the Dual Kodachis, which are being introduced in Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2. The good thing is that the way you will unlock these is by, quite literally, play the game.

You see, when you play Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone 2, you will gain tokens, which act as a currency to navigate the different nodes in the Battle Pass. You start at node 0, or B0, and you will need to move towards B13. The good thing is that you will be able to move freely throughout the nodes. To unlock the Dual Kodachis as fast as possible, go ahead and unlock B0, B1, B2, B4, and B9 to get to B13. This is a free weapon to unlock, so you don’t have to purchase the season pass to get it.

Now that you have your blades, you will be able to literally slice your enemies to death in a very fashionable yet stealthy way. This look awesome after all, and I bet many will attempt to unlock them. I can even imagine custom matches with just the Dual Kodachis as available weapons, to make your Samurai dreams come true. Anyway, good luck!
