Do you ever wonder if secretive storage methods will reach some kind of singularity? Like, so many people are hiding stuff with statues, it doesn’t become clever anymore? Well, I guess we haven’t reached that point yet, because someone in Pathfinder still has something to hide, and they’re doing it with statues. Here’s how to solve the Gray Garrison Statue puzzle in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
How to Solve Gray Garrison Statue Puzzle in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
During the City on Fire quest in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, not long after the game’s prologue, you and your swarthy crew will be assaulting the Gray Garrison. As you fight your way through, you’ll come across a room where you’ll need to take down a Succubus and a gaggle of Cultists. After you’ve defeated the lot of them, take a look around and check out the six statues in the hallway.

Each of these statues depicts an angel, with each one holding some manner of ceremonial weapon. They’re not just decorations, though; each statue hides a switch, which you flip by interacting with them. If you can flip all six switches in the correct order, a door will open, leading to a room with some nifty gear.
Activating the Statues
On the far side of the room is a wooden table, upon which you can loot a Prayer Scroll. This scroll contains a brief prayer to the angels that the statues depict, and the order they’re mentioned is the order you need to interact with them. To save you some time, though, we’ll just tell you the order. If you’re facing the statues with your back to the table, activate them in this order:
- Bottom left
- Middle right
- Bottom right
- Top right
- Middle left
- Middle top
If you’ve got the order right, you’ll get a quick cutscene showing a secret door opening up next to the table. This door leads to a small armory, containing a few weapon stands for you to loot. Make sure to check all of them, as even if you don’t find a weapon you like, you can obtain the very valuable Amulet of Agile Fists from this room. This nifty bauble lets you use your Dexterity modifier for damage rolls on unarmed and natural weapon attacks instead of your Strength modifier, provided you have the Weapon Finesse feat. If you’re running a DEX build, make sure you grab it!
