How to Signal the Coral Buddies in Fortnite

It’s week six in Fortnite‘s Chapter 2 Season 5, and we have two new epic quests available to complete. If you’re all caught up, one of this week’s challenges will be finding some coral buddies and signaling them for help. These are three closed clam shells found in the Coral Castle location. Here’s how to signal the coral buddies and their locations in Fortnite.

How to Signal the Coral Buddies in Fortnite

There are three coral buddies to signal in Fortnite for this Chapter 2 Season 5 Week 6 challenge. All three locations are fairly close to each other, found in the Coral Castle point of interest. It’s on the northwest side of the map. You’re looking for three claims with their shells closed. All you need to do is walk up to them and use your interact key to signal them.

The map above shows all three locations with a red marker. You can try gliding into the southernmost Coral Buddy and signaling it. Then, make your way a bit northwest to find the second one. Finally, you can swim up north to the final Coral Buddy and signal it to complete the challenge. After the third one, you should see a prompt saying the Signal the Coral Buddies is complete and text saying, “resolute bubbling.” It looks like the Coral Buddies oblige and will help out!
