How to Save in Potion Permit

Make Sure Not to Lose Your Progress!

In Potion Permit, you take on the role of a chemist living in the town of Moonbury. In this JRPG-inspired life-sim, the last thing you want to do is lose progress. It’s easy to do, especially if you don’t know how to save your game! It can be a genuinely heartbreaking experience to binge a large portion of the game only for a power outage to occur. Or, perhaps you believed the game to have autosave when it didn’t.

So, let’s take a dive into this open-ended adventure and figure out how to save in Potion Permit!

How to Save in Potion Permit

In Potion Permit, you can save your game by sleeping in your bed. To this writer, that makes the most sense, considering sleeping — in our reality — is the closest thing to saving our progress that we have. But, let’s say you don’t want to leave things to chance. Let’s say you want to manually back up your save. If you’re playing on PC, that’s something you can definitely do!

To manually save — only if you’re on PC — head for “MasshiveMedia\AppData LocalLow,” which is where you’ll find your save file. Simply send a copy to your desktop to create a backup. Then, no matter what happens, your precious progress will be protected!

In any case, to save within the game itself, simply interact with your bed and you’ll see a window seeking confirmation that you’d indeed like to save. Select YES, and you’ll fall asleep, thereby saving the game.
