Once you have defeated the HC Helicopter during the first mission of the campaign, you will unlock the Garage. Here is where you get to customize your mech to the build of your dreams. Go to AC Design and click on Paint. This will allow you to change the Armored Core color scheme part by part or even to the entire mech. You can save a specific color set of one of your parts for you to later apply to any other part in Armored Core 6. Follow the steps below to learn how to do it:

  • Make the color set to whatever you want.
  • Once you are happy with the color you like, press R on PC, X on Xbox, or Square on PlayStation to copy your set.
  • Open up the palette selector by clicking on Color Schemes.
  • Go to the Users tab and select any empty slot.
  • Overwrite that empty slot with your current color pattern by clicking F on PC, Y on Xbox, and Triangle on PlayStation to paste your custom color set.
