Since Phasmophobia’s early access launch in September 2020, people have been unable to use the reporting function. Where players can go to complain about abusive or dishonest behavior from other gamers across the network. Which for a game as dark and intense as Phasmophobia, has led to various complaints within the community. Thankfully, however, that’s soon to change in the near future.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to report players in Phasmophobia.
How to Report Players in Phasmophobia
As a popular feature that’s been left out of the game for more than two years, it was only a matter of time before it got added to the game. It looks like we won’t have to wait long either as players are expected to have the ability to report other players while playing Phasmophobia as part of the new Apocalypse Update. Which is a new content update coming to the game on September 27, 2022.

At the time of writing, we don’t yet know where the feature will be located in the game. However, it has been confirmed that all players will have access to the feature as soon as the update is live.
On top of the newly added Report System, players will also get to experience a full list of new content, changes, improvements, and bug fixes with the update. Including some new collectibles, interactables, sounds, and equipment load-outs, as well as a new shop, main menu, lobby room, fuse box, and more. There’s also the addition of Custom Difficulty, allowing players to create their own game by changing all of the important gameplay parameters and rules.
