Tarot Cards are perhaps the most interesting new item that made their way into the Phasmophobia Cursed Possessions update. They are also a bit confusing, so there’s a lot of people wondering how they work. Before you can try them out, though, you’ll need to know where to find them.

How to get the Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia?

In Phasmophobia, Tarot Cards typically spawn on countertops or tables inside a haunted location. An excellent place to check is on the dining room table, kitchen table, computer desk, and more or less any tabletop you can find in your specific location.

What are the Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia?

Tarot Cards are a deck of ten random cards, each with a unique mystical property. When you use the Tarot Cards, you will draw one at random and trigger something to happen. Here are all ten Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia and what they do:

  • Death – Triggers a hunt
  • The Devil – Manifests the ghost
  • The Fool – Masquerades as another card
  • The Hanged Man – Immediately kills you
  • The Hermit – Briefly prevents the ghost from wandering
  • The High Priestess – Revives a dead teammate
  • The Moon – Sets your Sanity to zero
  • The Sun – Sets your Sanity to 100
  • The Tower – Forces supernatural interactions
  • Wheel of Fortune – Gives you plus or minus 25 Sanity

Those are all ten Tarot Cards in Phasmophobia and how they work. Some cards seem a lot rarer than others, such as The High Priestess. Given this card’s effects, it makes sense that this would be the case. However, that doesn’t mean you won’t get lucky and pull a few in a row.

There is also some speculation going on about The Hermit card. Some players report that it locks the ghost inside of its own room for a short duration. Other players report that it makes the ghost less active. Either way, we can confirm it definitely lowers the ghost’s activity one way or another.

These Phasmophobia Tarot Cards are all still very new, so we’ll update this post if we discover new effects or inaccurate information.
