How to Remove Wanted Posters in Assassin’s Creed Mirage?

They can never get the face just right in these posters.

Ever since the days of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, assassins have been running from the law. As such, it’s no secret that enemies of the creed would use their influence against them. This can take the form of wanted posters. And in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, wanted posters make a return to the series. What’s more, if you have a high enough notoriety, the Caliph will hunt you all throughout Baghdad.

In order to remove wanted posters in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you’ll first need to find them. Posters don’t start spawning until you gain a notoriety level, and the icon doesn’t appear if you open the map. The only way to find wanted posters is to look for them on the compass at the top of your screen. The symbol looks eerily similar to the Munadi symbol, except this icon is a non-ripped wanted poster.

Once you locate a poster, simply press the interact button (Y/Triangle button on the controller, the E key on the Keyboard) to rip it off. Unlike paying the Munadi, removing a wanted poster only lowers your notoriety level by 1. This means you’ll need to find multiple posters if you have drawn a lot of unwanted attention.

As you play through Assassin’s Creed Mirage, there will be some unfriendly foes you’ll need to dispatch. However, you’ll gain notoriety if civilians or other enemies catch you in the middle of an illegal act, such as assassinating or pickpocketing. There are 3 levels to notoriety, each one making it harder and harder to walk around freely without getting into a fight.

As stated previously, you can pay the nearest Munadi 1 power token to reduce your notoriety to zero, or you can remove wanted posters. However, much like other systems in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, wanted posters to spawn around you in droves once you earn even one level of notoriety. So, if you’re looking to evade the law and have a little breathing room, save those power tokens and start ripping some posters.
