Today, Sony unveiled the launch date and price of their next-gen console: PlayStation 5. They showcased a few games, including the launch title Spider-Man: Miles Morales, a PS5 exclusive. The PlayStation 5 costs $499 for the Standard Edition and $399 for the Digital Edition. Here’s how to pre-order the PS5, and everything you need to know.

How to pre-order the PS5

PlayStation 5 is available for pre-order on September 17, 2020, at select retailers. A limited number of units are available for pre-order, so we recommend heading to the official PlayStation site and registering. Doing this allows you an opportunity to be one of the first to directly pre-order a PS5. 

The official launch date depends on your location. You can either receive it on November 12 or November 19. It launches on November 12 for folks in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. The rest of the world can pick it up on November 19.
