How to Plea for Help in Warzone 2 DMZ

Ok, ok, you can join my squad.

Since Warzone 2 was announced, expectations were pretty high. And I believe they have delivered their promises. No game is perfect, of course, but the amount of fun that CoD players have been having in the new DMZ mode is quite remarkable. Being able to join as a squad, talk to each other, and plan strategies to be victorious on your mission and then extract from the map is just as good as it gets. But what happens when you die mid-mission? Well, you plea for help, of course. No resting in peace for now. Here is how to plea for help in Warzone 2 DMZ.

How to Plea for Help in Warzone 2 DMZ

This will be counterintuitive. You see, when you think about pleading for help, you could conclude that you are looking for your teammates to save you. Well, not in the case of Warzone 2 DMZ. In fact, the ability to plead for help is designed to switch sides in the middle of a battle. There are a couple of requisites you must fulfill: you must be in a squad of 2 minimum, and at least one of the members of your squad must still be alive. Ok, now that you get this, here is how it works.

You must be dead in order to plea for help. I told you it was counterintuitive. Once you are watching your teammate’s helmet cam, go ahead and press and hold F or down on the D-Pad. A bar will fill out, and then you will see your empty corpse. There are two things that can happen at this point. Either an enemy will heal you, and you will join their new squad, or they will loot your corpse and your plea for help will be cancelled.

Remember that you need living members of your squad for the plea for help to work. If while doing your plea for help, your whole squad dies, you will be eliminated. Furthermore, if any surviving squad members join other squads and leave you alone with your fellow dead pleading for help friends, then it is game over for you as well. So, I recommend timing your plea for help very well for it to work.
