How to Play OG Fortnite Map – Creative 2.0 Code

A trip down memory lane

Fortnite Create 2.0 is a new Sandbox Mode that allows players to create their own Map using the Fortnite Unreal Engine. Epic Games are providing the creative tools to build their own version of Fortnite, whether that is recreating another Game such as nostalgic Modern Warfare Maps like Rust or creating something truly bizarre like a Shrek Boss Fight. It is incredibly similar to Media Molecule’s Dreams (2020) where anyone and everyone can create their own Map and share it in the game for people to try out. For those wanting to try out the OG Fortnite Map for the first time again in years, here is how to access it in Creative 2.0

How to Access the Chapter 1 Fortnite Map on Creative 2.0

Atlas Creative have been rebuilding and using loyal Fortnite fans nostalgia as a drug in recreating the world of Fortnite as seen only in Chapter 1. This will of course bring back the original Fortnite Map which many fans adored. It is also a unique trip down memory lane for a lot of fans, especially those who rose to fame through Fortnite such as Ninja. But Atlas is not the only team recreating the OG Fortnite Map, Reboot Royale are making the finishing touches for the Map and is set to release today with Creative 2.0 (out now) in Beta access. This has been months in the making, all leading up to the point of Creative 2.0’s release.

ATLAS CREATIVE CODE: 2179-7822-3395

REBOOT ROYALE CODE: 4464-0648-9492

To play Atlas Creative or Reboot Royale’s OG Fortnite Map, you need to head into Play and select ‘Island Code’. Input the Map Code listed above to get into the Server and try your luck inside Fortnite Chapter 1, remade by Atlas.

Why Developers are Having Problems Publishing

As of writing this article, it is incredibly tough to get access for these original Fortnite Maps. Reboot Royale are in the process of releasing their OG Map for the public. Whilst Atlas Creative’s Map is now available to play, the Developers have had to remove a portion of the OG Map due to memory issues. The Atlas Creative OG Fortnite Map is in BETA, so players are bound to experience bugs on its launch.

The problem these developers are having with publishing these Maps onto Creative 2.0 for the first time is due to this being a new process for Epic Games to complete. Facing new issues regarding publishing the remade version of Fortnite Chapter 1, alongside getting the Map accepted by Epic Games themselves. Reboot Royale is finally live. This Map however is facing launch issues such as rendering problems, players locked in sprint animation and Storm Zone not showing on Map. Reboot also had to remove the Flush Factory POI, voted by the fans, due to Memory issues. These issues however, will be patched for it’s next update, but it is important to be aware of these issues before trying this Map out for yourself.
