How to Unlock Zskera Vault Fire Room Chest in World of Warcraft

Your first thought besides “Yep this room is on fire” is to soldier your way through the flames. Surely, you can just make a mad dash for the chest, take whatever hit damage comes your way, and escape with the treasure. But that line of thinking will leave you empty-handed and either with a crispy or dead character.

How to Get Protective Buff for Fire Room

In order to actually access the room and survive the flames, you need a buff called the Protective Ward Flames. You will recognize it because it looks like a giant orange/red floating crystal. Actually, tracking down the buff can be a bit tricky.

The buff spawns randomly within Zskera Vaults. So you’ll have to randomly come cross one by grinding for keys. In order to find vault keys, you’ll need to complete certain tasks or kill elite enemies in the Forbidden Reach. Once you find the floating crystal, simply approach it to activate the buff.

Reward of the Fire Room

Now, that you have the buff you have a limited time to return to the Fire Room to claim your rewards. So make your way back there. With the buff, you’ll realize that the flames no longer affect you, and you can access the chests in the room. As for reward, the loot is randomized but some items found include Flame Licked Stone, Dormant Primodial Fragment, Searing Smokey Stone, and others.

If you didn’t quite get what you were looking for, then better luck next time. You may also be interested in Best Fury Warrior Talent Builds in World of Warcraft Dragonflight.
