How to open the gates in Creepy Crypt in Minecraft Dungeons

Minecraft Dungeons just came out today, and chances are you’re playing through it now. The second mission you come across after freeing all of the villagers is to head over to Creepy Crypt. You will come across an area where there are a bunch of enemies behind a wall or a gate. Here’s how to open the gates in Creepy Crypt in Minecraft Dungeons.

How to open the gates in Creepy Crypt in Minecraft Dungeons

Towards the center of the room, you will see a statue that you need to click on to open the gates. Doing so will spawn a bunch of enemies, so get ready to fight. After you clear out all the enemies, the gates will open and you can proceed through the mission to “Find the Lost Tome”.

Proceed through the rest of the Creepy Crypt, and you will come across a few more areas like this one. Walk around and look for levers similar to the one in the picture above. Opening them usually spawns waves of enemies, and once you defeat them, the gates will open.

That’s all there is to it, and it’s pretty simple but confusing at first. If you are ever unsure where to go, look for the yellow icon on the map, which will lead you to the next location. Also, be sure to use your minimap, which provides you with an outline of the dungeon. You will never get lost if you use your map.
