If you’re a fan of open-world survival games, then you’re probably familiar with Raft. A game in which you must survive while stranded in the middle of the ocean with nothing more than a 2×2 raft and whatever resources you can find deep out at sea. Since you’ll have very few at your disposal, knowing how to make Trash Cubes is essential, since this will be your primary source of currency in the game.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to make Trash Cubes in Raft
How to Make Trash Cubes in Raft
Trash Cubes are essentially a resource you use in Raft to trade for other items. They’re basically large blocks made up of discarded trash floating around in the water or sinking at the bottom of the ocean. These can then be dealt at a Trading Post to acquire things like Special Bait, which is used to catch fish that can then be traded in again for coins.

Since Trash Cubes are scattered throughout the ocean, you can find them by diving down and searching for them underwater. That being said, they spawn at random, so, finding them can be rather tricky.
Alternatively, you can also build a Recycler on your Raft, which will help you make your own Trash Cubes. To do this, you will need;
- Plastic (x6)
- Metal Ingot (x4)
- Bolt (x2)
- Circuit Board (x1)
- Charged Batter (x1)
Once you have these items, you can then craft a Recycler with the use of a blueprint. Which can be found at the top floor of the Radio Tower from Chapter 1. Of course, to find the location for the Radio Tower, you will need to build Receivers and Antennas. To which the items and blueprints can be found in random barrels spread throughout the ocean.
That being said, once the Recycler has been made, you can begin scrapping all of the extra junk and converting them into Trash Cubes.
