Steam attracts a lot of eager gamers wanting to buy their favorite games at discount. There are bound to be traffic and server issues from time to time. If you’re not having issues accessing your Steam Wishlist, chances are the store is giving you trouble. If you can’t access the store then you just can’t buy any games, can you? There could be a multitude of issues but there are also a lot of options on how to fix them. Fixing the Steam Store and getting it loading again is your primary concern after all and we are going to help.

How to Fix Steam Store from Not Loading

There are lots of options but we should go through some of the quick and easier ones first. It may be all you need.

  1. Reboot your computer, it may be the simplest and fastest fix you can hope for. Sometimes all Steam needs is a hard reset.
  2. Check your internet connection. Steam is a huge platform with millions of users, chances are you’re just not running fast enough during a big traffic event like a sale. You can check your computer’s internet connection or restart your internet modem.

Something a bit more complicated if these issues persist, is cleaning out your cache.

  1. Launch Steam client. Click on the Steam tab on the top left.
  2. Choose Settings from the drop-down menu.
  3. Choose Web Browser from the left pane.
  4. Then click on Delete Web Browser Cache and Delete Web Browser Cookies.

If that doesn’t resolve the issue then you may need to update Steam. It may be as simple as your app isn’t fully updated or reuploading steam could fix the issue.
