What does Doomguy, The Incredible Hulk, Geralt of Rivia and Mr. Beast have in common? One word: Fortnite. Yes, the folks at Epic Games have done it again and have offered a glimpse of what is to come to the current Chapter 4 of their favorite child. And when I say child, I mean game. And when I say game, I mean Fortnite. Anyway, among the guests joining the game this time, there are a couple of things introduced to the game, one of them being a new mechanic called Augments. The Augments are basically random boosts you will get throughout your match in order to gain some advantage over your enemies. Many are wondering how to activate them, so heads up! Here is how to keybind Augments in Fortnite Chapter 4.

How to Keybind Augments in Fortnite Chapter 4

In order to keybind Augments in Fortnite Chapter 4, you will have to be playing a match in-game. Go to settings and navigate to Keyboard Inputs section. On a keyboard, go all the way down (it will take a while) to Augments Input section, and you will find the “Open Augment Select”. It is defaulted to the “7” key, but be sure to pick the key you are most comfortable with in order to optimize it. On a controller, on the Controller Configurations section, go to Custom and bind the “Squad Requests / Augment Select” to the button of your choice. Many are reporting they cannot find this option, but be sure to look for it as written above, you will be able to find it in no time.

While it is still confusing, the new mechanic promises to bring more strategy and chaos to Fortnite. Be sure to keybind Augments to the ideal input key or button in order to optimize your gameplay and avoid compromising your current way of playing the game.
