How to Increase EN Capacity, EN Recharge and Supply Recovery in Armored Core 6 – Stats Explained

A new way of assessing your stamina

FromSoftware have this incredibly capability of confusing the hell out of their newcomers. Although Armored Core has been around for years, for many, this game will be a brand new experience created by the more challenging but rewarding of video games. What takes hours to master in understanding what they call as the most basic terms to understand in their universes, the Armored Core stats offer little to explain what each feature means. Much like the unnecessary title of Vigor and Vitality, Armored Core brings new terms, fully abbreviated and a lot of repeated titles that can leave many feeling like this combat game is more about puzzle solving than anything else. This is Vincent’s guide on what EN Capacity, EN Recharge and Supply Recovery are in Armored Core 6.

What is EN in Armored Core 6?

EN simply describes Energy in Armored Core 6. If we were to compare AC6 to a standard RPG game, Energy would be Mana in this sense. Energy is the resource your AC has when it uses abilities, boosts and anything that requires your mech to actually perform a move in the game. In a way, it also represents your mech’s stamina and ability to perform moves. If your EN is overloaded much like the Weight Meter, your AC will not be able to handle completing simple tasks. Everything in the game costs Energy, from your weapons to your core expansions. Whilst this specifically looks at the EN Load, there are other functions EN has to offer under your stats in Armored Core 6. These are:

  • EN Load – The total amount of Energy your AC can handle.
  • EN Capacity – The total amount of Energy your AC has. For AC Parts, this is the amount it needs in order to successfully function when equipped.
  • EN Supply Efficiency – The rate in which your AC can recharge its Energy to use the weapon/unit.
  • EN Recharge Delay – The total recharge duration of Energy when emptied. The higher the amount, the faster your EN meter will fill for you to execute actions again.
  • EN Output – The total amount of Energy your AC can execute.

What is Supply Recovery in AC6?

Unlike the other stats listed above which are visible for all AC Parts (units and weapons), the Supply Recharge is specific to generators in Armored Core 6. Your generators are crucial to providing the EN necessary for your AC to continuing running and performing actions. Supply Recovery looks at how fast your generator will recover its EN so that you can begin executing moves once more. Working just like the Recharge Delay with weapons and parts, the Supply Recovery looks only at your generator and how long it takes after the meter is emptied (stamina runs out). Once again, the higher the stat, the faster you can execute actions.

How to Increase Stats

The best way to increase stats on your AC Parts and that is using the OS upgrades. Whilst your weapons cannot specifically have their stats boosted, you can fine tune them according to the build you are going for. Other AC Parts however can be improved such as your boosts, core expansions and abilities that you can unlock and upgrade such as Manual Aim, Quick Turn and Weapons Bay.

That was our quick guide explaining a few of the many new terms in Armored Core 6. We hope this guide cleared up any questions you may have had on these stats in AC6. For more AC6 content, be sure to check out all of GJ’s articles written here. Thank you for reading this guide.
