How to Hide Projectile Reticle and Trajectory in Sons of the Forest

It's Good to Have Options!

As you’re making your way through Sons of the Forest, it’s within the realm of possibility that you’ll want to turn off the projectile reticle. Perhaps it’s distracting you? Perhaps it’s just annoying? Regardless of the reason, it’s good to have the option to customize the game experience. Especially for players who need to take advantage of accessibility options. Here’s how to hide the projectile reticle and trajectory in Sons of the Forest!

It might go without saying, but both of these options can be toggled in the game’s main menu. If you’re not convinced because they weren’t there before, that’s because they were both added in the most recent update. So, it stands to reason that you can toggle the projectile reticle and trajectory on or off via the main menu. As of writing, it’s unclear if these settings can be toggled in-game, or if you must return to the main menu.

In addition to the inclusion of these options, several other bugfixes and features were added in the most recent patch. It would seem that players now have access to Binoculars, a Hang Glider, and Defensive Gates. Also, as if you needed a reason to fear looking up, apparently the cannibals can now jump out at you from the trees?! In any case, to see all of the various new features and fixes, check the official patch notes via the Sons of the Forest page on Steam.
