How to Hack the Dino Game on Google Chrome

Effortlessly achieve the highest score possible!

The Chrome Dino game on Google Chrome is easily one of the most well-known video games, but it’s rarely ever talked about due to its monumental availability and sheer simplicity. Just because it’s not talked about doesn’t mean it’s not entertaining though! Some people only play the Chrome Dino game when they don’t have internet, but there are many people who play it even when they do have internet access; sometimes the only entertainment you need is a dinosaur endlessly jumping over cacti!

One of the best parts of the Chrome Dino game is its ingenious simplicity; it’s not difficult to play and it has extremely simple mechanics, so people of all ages can enjoy it. However, its simplicity is also part of the reason why no one really talks about it, because there’s nothing to talk about. It’s an endless game about obstacle-dodging dinosaurs, which can get pretty boring after a while. But one thing that can spice up any boring game is abusing in-game glitches and hacks! There aren’t many glitches in this game, but here are the best hacks that you can use to beef up your dinosaur in the dino game on Google Chrome:

How to Hack the Dino Game on Google Chrome

If you’re a fan of getting low scores and pterodactyls/cacti killing you prematurely, then you might not want to use these hacks. There are three popular hacks that are commonly used in this game: an invincibility hack, a speed hack, and a jump hack.

Running, jumping, and dodging obstacles to avoid dying are the three main features of the game, so fundamentally changing how these features operate is the perfect way to spice up your gameplay! Here’s how to utilize each of these hacks (yes, you can use them all at once):

Invincibility

  • Accurately type or copy and paste chrome://dino/ into your address bar and hit “Enter“.
  • Before the game starts playing, right-click on the little dinosaur on the screen and then click “Inspect“.
  • Once the small “developer tools” window pops up, click on the “Console” tab.
  • Copy this code, paste it into the textbox, and then hit “Enter“:
    • Runner.prototype
  • Repeat the process (copy, paste, and hit “Enter“) for the entry of the last code for this code:
    • Runner.prototype.gameOver=function (){console.log(“T-Rex is immortal now”)}
  • Your dinosaur should now be immortal and will have no problems running straight through cacti and pterodactyls!
    • If you ever want to reverse your immortality and go back to playing the game normally, just copy and paste this code into the textbox and hit “Enter“: Runner.prototype.gameOver = original

Speed

  • Accurately type or copy and paste chrome://dino/ into your address bar and hit “Enter“.
  • Before the game starts playing, right-click on the little dinosaur on the screen and then click “Inspect“.
  • Once the small “developer tools” window pops up, click on the “Console” tab.
  • Copy this code, paste it into the textbox, and then hit “Enter“:
    • Runner.prototype
  • Repeat the process (copy, paste, and hit “Enter“) for the entry of the last code for this code:
    • Runner.instance_.setSpeed(1000)
    • 1000 is a very fast speed; if you won’t want your dinosaur going that speed, you can always manipulate this number to be higher or lower.
  • Your dinosaur should now be running at the speed of light!

Jump

  • Accurately type or copy and paste chrome://dino/ into your address bar and hit “Enter“.
  • Before the game starts playing, right-click on the little dinosaur on the screen and then click “Inspect“.
  • Once the small “developer tools” window pops up, click on the “Console” tab.
  • Copy this code, paste it into the textbox, and then hit “Enter“:
    • Runner.prototype
  • Repeat the process (copy, paste, and hit “Enter“) for the entry of the last code for this code:
    • Runner.instance_.tRex.setJumpVelocity(15)
    • 15 makes your dinosaur jump pretty high; if you don’t want your dinosaur to jump this high, you can experiment with higher or lower numbers until you find a velocity that’s right for you.
  • Your dinosaur should now have no trouble jumping over everything in its path!

You’ll be able to effortlessly achieve a high score in no time by using any of these hacks, let alone all of them at once! There’s nothing more satisfying than sitting back and watching the points-counter reach impossible numbers; all of your previous high scores will become worthless in a matter of minutes.
