How to Give Allies Resources

Before being able to give allies some resources in Age of Empires 2, there are a couple of requirements you must have. First, you must be at Feudal Age, and then, you must build a Market. This will enable the diplomacy icon to appear and trading to be available for you. Once you do, click on the new diplomacy icon that appears on your screen, it is a green leaf at the top right of the screen. From here, you will be able to send resources to your allies.

First, click on the desired resource you will want to send, that is located just next to the name of your ally. For every click you make, you will donate 100 of the desired resource you want to send. If you hold Shift while clicking, you will send 500 resources instead. Be sure to donate to your allies, although you might be able to send resources to enemies that have their diplomacy stance in a non-locked state.

And that’s it! It is pretty easy and straightforward. Be sure to send resources to allies from time to time to strengthen diplomatic relationships as well as aiding them if they are in trouble. Hopefully, thanks to your generosity, you will be able to attack your enemy together and wipe them out from the face of the earth. Well, that escalated quickly.
