I’m all about cold weather. Not that I hate the sun, it has not done anything personal against me, it is just that melting away due to heat is not my favorite activity during the year. Well, maybe I haven’t experienced cold as some of you, there is no snow or freeze in the area where I’m from, so perhaps I’m a little biased. So, no, I haven’t walked on top of a frozen lake, but I bet we can do that together in this game. Here is how to get water during winter in Sons of the Forest.
How to Get Water During Winter in Sons of the Forest
Sons of the Forest, while having some features missing, features a very entertaining adventure. Season change is one of them. And since winter is the subject of today, it is safe to say that whenever you try to find water like you would on the other seasons, you will find some bodies of water completely frozen. However, if you look closely enough, you will find some regular water near the frozen lake, right where the water meets the land. You will also be able to find some water streams surrounding the area.
Get a Water Flash using the 3D Printer
If you like, you will also be able to collect some water and store it with you by using the 3D printer to craft the water flask. You will be able to find the 3D printer in an underground bunker that is found near the starting beach, just use your GPS to follow the green marker in the map. You will need to use 100ml of Printer Resin, which you will find in the same room as the printer.
Use the Water Flask to Collect Water
Once you have your new Water Flask, go ahead and travel to the location you found a water source and interact with the water while holding the flask, like you would normally do to drink water. You will fill it with water and will allow you to store it in case of emergency thirst.

Winter, spring, summer, or fall, you will be able to find water if you look for it with enough care and precision.
