Inside the Backrooms is one of the best horror backrooms games going, with many places to explore and many puzzles to solve. Just like the backrooms, there is not a linear path you must follow, and you can deviate from the beaten track. You’ll have to do this if you want to discover the Sewer Rooms, not that it’s a pleasant place to go. Here is how to get to the sewers in Inside the Backrooms.
How to get to the sewers in Inside the Backrooms
The sewers, or the Sewer Rooms, is a level in Inside the Backrooms. To get there, however, you will need to do some backtracking and decision-making. The backrooms is not a linear place, and neither is this game. You will have to make a choice in deciding how to go about escaping. But if you want to visit the Sewer Rooms, then here’s how.
In the Parking level, where you are first graced by the presence of a Skin Stealer, you may notice a red door in the wall. Right beyond that door is the entrance to the Sewer Rooms and the alternative path. However, to open the door, you will need a red access card.

How to get the red access card in Inside the Backrooms
The red access card is an important item that will force you to travel one of two paths in the game. To get it, you must complete the Partygoer’s challenges in the Office Rooms. Complete all three challenges, blow out the flesh cake, and pick up the card. Once you have, return to the Parking level by leaving the Office Rooms and dropping down the hole again. Make your way to the red door and open it up.
The Sewer Rooms will be waiting for you.
