In the wide world of Fortnite, there are a legion of skins that have attained a specific kind of rarity. It’s less that these skins are worth anything tangible, and more that they have a sentimental value to those willing to buy them. It’s a phenomenon that’s becoming more and more visible as time goes on. In the case of the Throwback BG Skin, it’s just one of many outfits that is considered super rare on the Fortnite Island.

What is the Throwback BG Outfit?

The Throwback BG Outfit was introduced to the Item Shops via the Wu Wear set on April 24, 2022. It manifested as a man wearing a stylish jacket, dark pants, and matching shoes, with a cap and sunglasses. First made available in Chapter 3: Season 2, this skin could be purchased for 1,200 V-Bucks, or in the Wu Wear Bundle for 1,600 V-Bucks.

Is the Throwback BG Outfit Still Available?

No. According to Fortnite.GG, the last time this skin was seen in the Fortnite Item Shop was May 13, 2022. It could make a resurgence someday, and if it does, we’ll be sure to update this piece.

What Was Included in the Wu Wear Bundle?

It might go without explaining, but the Wu Wear Bundle was comprised of items themed around famed hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan. There were two separate bundles; one which contained pickaxes, wraps, emotes, sprays, and banners, and another which contained two outfits, back blings, emojis, and a loading screen. Here’s what each bundle contained:
