Warhammer 40K: Darktide really allows you to go to town when it comes to ripping apart the limbs and bodies of your enemies. With highly powerful guns to rip asunder a foe from yards away, you’ll be having a great time. However, running out of ammo can really ruin the experience. That’s why, if you’re a Psyker player, the Force Staffs are a must-have. With higher attacks and no ammo to worry about, you’ll have a blast as you blast them to smithereens. Here is how to unlock the Force Staffs in Warhammer 40K: Darktide.
How to unlock the Force Staff in Warhammer 40K: Darktide
Accessing the Force Staff
There are four different types of Force Staff for the Psyker to unlock, and they all get unlocked at different intervals and have unique uses. With such diversity, the Psyker players shouldn’t have a hard time acquiring one.
At Trust Levels 5, 10, 17, and 18, a new type of Force Staff will become available where the player may receive weapons. After a refresh, the armoury should sport the new type of Force Staff available for purchasing. They are expensive, but well worth it. Also, in the Requisitorium, the new Force Staff may be available as a weapon to purchase using the Requisitorium coins.

Once you have bought that Force Staff, you will be able to equip it through the loadout screen. Time to have some fun.
Using the Force Staff
Each Force Staff has there own unique abilities and edges, so you’ll have to really experiment to get to grips with each of them.
For the most part, however, they all have the safe primary attack that is a warp projectile that shoots towards the enemies. Slower than a bullet, the projectile will sail through the air until hits a target. Despite the slower speeds and fire rate, the projectile is decently powerful, so you will be able to deal some good damage with it.
Due to cast times, there is skill in weilding a Force Staff to make up for the damage and zero ammo. You cannot approach the staff as it it were a gun, that would certainly get you killed. Remember that the Psyker is fragile and that you must stay back, even with a great weapon by your side.
Each staff has a unique special ability, however, whether it’s explosions or lightning bolts or soulblaze. Each has a unique edge that you will have to experiment with to see which fits your style.
