Where is Everburn Blade in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Everburn Blade will be found in the possession of a boss called Commander Zhalk in Nautiloid. The only way for you to get the sword is to take it from him. One way or the other.

The easiest way for you to grab the Everburn Blade from Zhalk would be with the Command spell that is the most common with Clerics and Paladins. With it, you can simply order Zhalk to drop his weapon and you can then pick it up.

If, however, you don’t have that spell in your arsenal you would need to defeat Commander Zhalk in a battle to grab his sword. But, that won’t be a simple process.

How to beat Commander Zhalk in Baldur’s Gate 3?

Before you engage Commander Zhalk in Neutiloid you need to grab every companion in Nautiloid you can get to make this fight easier. The first one you can recruit is the Intellect Devourer. When engaging him don’t hurt or offend him in any way. Be likable while interacting with him and he will soon join you.

You can then proceed to find Lae’zel, a Tank/DPS Companion that will bring much-needed sustain to your combat. Once you meet her, you two will need to fight off some demons but after you have defeated them you will have a chance to recruit her.

Shadowheart is the next companion you can grab for your party. She will be locked in a Mind Flayer Pod and you will actually need to rescue her before you can recruit her. The first step towards getting her out of there is going to the terminal and looting the dead thrall. Pick up a key from his body and go back to the main room where Shadowheart is located and open up the locked chest there. Once you do, you will get an item called Eldritch Rune. Use the Rune to interact with the console next to trapped Shadowheart and you will release her.

When you have these three companions you can proceed to battle Commander Zhalk. The most important thing you need to remember when fighting him is that you need to encircle him as soon as possible and use all the buffs you have to try and bring him down fast. This is vital because he will be spawning minions to help him out after a while and if you end up fighting them and Zhalk at the same time, you’re going to be in big trouble.

Once Zhalk is defeated you will be able to loot him and get the Everburn Blade.
