How to Get Strawberries in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Strawberries are actually one of the first fruits you can buy in the game, though they’re only sold at a single one of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s three main ingredient retailers. The three main retailers that sell sandwich ingredients are Deli Cioso, Sure Cans, and Artisan Bakery, and although they all sell incredibly valuable sandwich ingredients, you’ll only ever be able to find Strawberries at Sure Cans.

There are only a handful of Sure Cans scattered across the Paldea region, but you should be able to find Strawberries in all of them. In fact, unlike with most sandwich ingredients in these games, you don’t even have to get any Gym Badges before you can buy them! You’re able to buy Strawberries right off the bat, no story progression required! If you’re having trouble tracking down one of the notoriously elusive Sure Cans shops, try looking around any of these cities:

  • Levincia
  • Mesagoza
  • Porto Marinada
  • Cascarrafa

Not only do you not have to get any Gym Badges to buy Strawberries in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, but you also don’t have to break the bank just to stock up on these sandwich stuffers! Strawberries only cost $140, which is an incredibly reasonable price when you consider just how much money you can make just by freelance battling any Trainer in your path. Be sure to grab as many Strawberries as you can carry anytime you happen to stumble across a Sure Cans!

You may think that Strawberries are an odd choice of ingredients for sandwiches, but they’re far from the weirdest things that Pokémon Trainers are expected to cram into baguettes and feed to their Pokémon in these games.
