How to Get Moondew Nectar in Slime Rancher 2

Slime Rancher 2 ... at Night!

Slime Rancher 2 is now in early access, meaning gamers everywhere are desperately hunting down new slimes to wrangle. But, what if one of the most curious things to find wasn’t a slime at all? Moondew Nectar is a food item that, because it wasn’t present in the first Slime Rancher, can be complicated to find. That said, like with any other item in this game, it can be found with the right amount of perseverance.

How to Get Moondew Nectar?

It would seem that the Moondew Nectar is the preferred food of Flutter Slimes. In order to obtain this elusive item, you’ll need to be on the lookout for a unique kind of flower. These flowers are round-ish in shape, and usually exist atop rock formations or boulders. You’ll know it’s the right flower if the center is colored deep purple while the surrounding edges are white.

It makes sense, however, that the Moondew Nectar wouldn’t spawn during the daytime. So, take note of the flowers’ locations, then return at around 20:00 to harvest the nectar. In most cases, each flower will only spawn one unit of nectar, though in some cases you might get lucky and have a flower spawn two.

It’s truly a situation where you want to pay close attention. Aside from the fact that the nectar can spoil if you aren’t quick about it, you may find the nectar is stuck in the flower’s center. In any case, make haste in your collecting runs and you’ll have a healthy supply of Moondew Nectar.
