Where to Find Angler Slimes in Slime Rancher 2

Angler Slimes can be easily identified by the bright lure that hangs in front of their face. Similarly to their namesake, the Angler Slimes like to hang around moist environments, but are fully terrestrial and do not need water support of any kind.

The Anger Slimes feature both on Ember Valley and Starlight Strand, in the areas of the map represented in a murky yellow.

They are more abundant in Ember Valley, however., in feral largo forms and scattered across most of the island. It is hard to avoid the Angler Slimes as they are rather abundant, and are easy to pick out. At the very least, their plorts will be available from the feral Angler Largos if you want their plorts to make largos of your own.

How to Care for Angler Slimes in Slime Rancher 2

If you want to wrangle Angler Slimes, then you might be relieved to know that they are easy to care for. The only thing to watch out for is their lure, which may flash to stun prey. It does also stun other slimes, but there is no real consequence. Their lure can also, however, attract hens and roostros, so be careful to not have free-range chickens near the Angler enclosure.

Their favorite meat is the Sea Hens, so make sure you’ve got a coop or two to keep them happy. If raising Hens is too much of a hassle, then combine the Angler Slimes with a veggie or fruit slime to make feeding easier as gardens grow food more efficiently than coops.
