The game will give you some guidance on where you can find lumber and other resources but in a way, it always seems there isn’t enough of it. Read on to get tips and tricks on finding more lumber in Dredge.
How to Find More Lumber in Dredge?
To go and get lumber for yourself you would first need to unlock Dredging. This would give you the ability to take different resources from the seafloor, including lumber. As lumber is one of the key materials used for upgrading your boat, it would be a good idea to always know where you can find some.

Lumber Location in Dredge
Great locations for Lumber Dredging can be found in Little Marrow, Steel Point, and Devil’s Spire. When looking for dredging lumber, seek wooden planks floating in the sea, as they are signaling lumber locations for you.
Even when you clear these locations of lumber, it will respawn there so you know you have a safe farming area. But, keep in mind that the respawn timer won’t always be the same so it will sometimes take a while before you get another batch of lumber in your favorite location.
Lumber Dredging Glitch – Unlimited Lumber
Currently, there is a glitch that you can exploit that will give you unlimited lumber. What you need to do is go to the Steel Point, north of the Marrows, find a dock, and look for lumber not far from it. Once you farm the lumber, go back to the dock, unload your lumber in your storage, and proceed to Save and Quit. From the Main Menu, go and load your last save.
If it’s nighttime, go to sleep and wait for the day. Visit the spot where you farmed the lumber last time and you will see that it respawned. By doing this you don’t have to wait multiple in-game days to get that lumber again but can instead farm it much faster.
This glitch was working for this location alone at the time of the writing of this article, and we can’t guarantee that it won’t be fixed in the future.
