How to get Kelvin Unstuck in Sons of the Forest
In your adventures in Sons of the Forest, you might find Kelvin absent. After a lengthy look, you may find that he is stuck in a pool of water, or in a cave. This isn’t an unfamiliar struggle for gamers, having their AI companions getting stuck in the terrain. Thankfully, there are some fixes to get your friend right by your side again.

Typically, distancing yourself by a large margin will force him to teleport near you. This trick should work in most scenarios. Sometimes sleeping will ensure his teleportation. If you distance yourself and sleep and he still doesn’t teleport by your side, then some extra precautions will be needed to return Kelvin to your side.
If he is stuck in water, then attempting to drown yourself will trigger him to help you, unstucking him automatically. This trick only works if there is water nearby, however, otherwise he won’t pick up on your gurgled cries for help.
Hopefully, these are simply bugs that the developers will patch in due time. Until then, try to be careful with him.
