Guilmon has officially been confirmed as one of the playable Digimon available in Digimon Survive. However, there appears to be some confusion as to how players can acquire him since there are various factors to consider depending on where you are and how you go about purchasing the game.

How to Get Guilmon in Digimon Survive
The first thing worth mentioning is that how to obtain Guilmon in Digimon Survive will depend on which region of the world you are in as well as which version of the game you purchase. Below is a full layout of how to get Guilmon in Digimon Survive for each region where the game is available.
Europe and Australia
Firstly, Guilmon is only available as bonus content for those who order the digital version of Digimon Survive in Europe or Australia. However, it also depends on when you purchase the game as well. For example, if you live in Europe or Australia and purchase the digital version of the game between launch and the first month of the game, then you will receive Guilmon and HP Support Equipment as a bonus.

Although, keep in mind that this only pertains to those who buy the digital version of Digimon Survive, since the physical copy does not come with any bonus content. Also, since Digimon Survive cannot be pre-ordered at this time, Guilmon appears to only be available as bonus content if you buy the game within the first month of launch. The game is set to be released worldwide on July 29, 2022.
United States and Canada
For residents of the United States or Canada, it looks like things will be slightly different. A banner image from June displayed Guilmon as a launch bonus item but only if you buy the game from select retailers. Which means that if you pre-order the physical copy of Digimon Survive in North America, then you will get Guilmon DLC codes at launch.
The issue is that no information has been released regarding which retailers will offer this bonus content. That being said, Amazon has already confirmed that they will offer this bonus if you purchase the game from them. If you would rather purchase the game from other retailers in your region, then you will need to contact them personally.
If you wish to purchase the digital version of Digimon Survive in the United States or Canada instead, then the same rules apply as with Europe and Australia. In that you will have to buy the game within the first month of launch in order to get Guilmon.
Regardless of which region of the world you are in, there’s a good chance that Bandai Namco will add Guilmon to the game at some point down the line for everybody. However, you might need to pay to use him and if you want him at launch, then you will need to follow one of the aforementioned methods.
