With your team, plunge into the depths and plunder all you can before the creatures of darkness claim your corpses – and your loot. One item in particular you may be on the look out for is the Golden Key, which could be your ticket to winning it big.
How to get the Golden Key in Dark and Darker
Thankfully, there are a few ways to get a Golden Key in Dark and Darker, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding it. Golden Keys are used to unlock Golden Doors, which keep an extremely lucrative hoard. If you want to win big, then work towards one of these methods.

Firstly, it should be said that you can simply buy a Golden Key from a player at the warehouse, average pricing being 1,000 gold. If you’re good for gold, then simply buying one could be a great option. If you don’t want to part with tha much gold, however, then you’ll have to get your hands dirty.
Golden Keys are a rare drop from Skeleton Champions, so you can spend your time grinding away at them hoping for a drop. Just make sure you’re prepared to kill quite a lot of them. If you’re lucky, a teammate may die whilst having one on them. You can take it, they won’t be needing it anyway.
Once you’ve got one, make your way to or find a Golden Door. Just don’t die on the way, what a tragedy that would be.
