The hunt for this mask will take you to the Pico Pond Cave in the Eldin Canyon on a side quest called “The Hunt for Bubbul Gems”. When you arrive at the entrance of the cave, you will meet two brothers, Kilton and Koltin. You find out from them that the older brother, Koltin is looking to become a Satori and for that, he needs something called Bubbul gem that is dropped by Bubbulfrog creatures when weakened.

Koltin asks you if you can go into the cave, attack the Bubbulfrog and collect a Bubbul gem for him. In return, you will be rewarded with a treasure that will turn out to be the Bokoblin Mask. Bubbulfrog will be a glowing frog-like creature easily found inside the cave. Defeat him and he will drop the necessary Bubbul gem.

Once you leave the cave talk to Koltin again and he will give you the Bokoblin Mask as your reward. As Koltin notes, the mask will allow you to blend in with the Bokoblins and even a real Bokoblin wouldn’t be able to tell that you aren’t one of them.

How Can You Benefit Additionally from Koltin and Pico Pond Cave?

In the dialogue that occurs after successfully completing the quest, you will find out that one Bubbul gem isn’t enough for Koltin and that he is going to need more in the future. This sets out a new quest where you can collect more of these gems throughout the game and always sell them to him for a reward.

Further, the Pico Pond Cave will be rich with other loot that you can pick up along the way, so it can be a double win for you.
