Naxxramas is releasing in December for World of Warcraft Classic players, which gives you about a good month from the announcement to prepare. Like most 40-man raid instances, there is an attunement process you need to follow to be able to enter Naxxramas. Luckily, it’s not a long, drawn-out process and mostly requires Argent Dawn reputation. Here’s how to get attuned for Naxxramas in Classic WoW.

Here’s the Naxxramas attunement process in Classic WoW:

  • Have at least Honored reputation with Argent Dawn
  • Speak with Archmage Angela Dosantos in Light’s Hope Chapel
  • Complete The Dread Citadel – Naxxramas quest

Depending on your reputation with Argent Dawn, you may need to pay some gold and turn in some materials to complete the attunement process. The breakdown is as follows and differs based on your Argent Dawn reputation:

  • Argent Dawn (Honored)
    • Arcane Crystal x5
    • Nexus Crystal x2
    • Righteous Orb x1
    • 60 Gold
  • Argent Dawn (Honored)
    • Arcane Crystal x2
    • Nexus Crystal x1
    • 30 Gold
  • Argent Dawn (Exalted)
    • Free!

The Dread Citadel – Naxxramas quest from Archmage Angela Dosantos reads:

“In the thick of Plaguewood lies the entrance to the dread citadel of Naxxramas. Previously, all attempts to enter have been stymied by the magical wards placed upon the rune portal. That is, until now.

We have devised a way to gain entry via arcane cloaking – an old cantrip of the Kirin Tor with a few modifications of my own. Since your dedication to the cause of the Dawn is somewhat lacking, the price will be high. You may decline and choose to return when you are revered or exalted for a discount.”

Completion of this quest rewards you with 200 Argent Dawn reputation and the ability to access Naxxramas.
