How to Get Armsmaster Secondary Job in Octopath Traveler 2

Become the weapon master.

Blacksmithing and melee weapon crafting (and active usage) is my favorite thing to do in RPGs and gaming in general. I mean, I have never understood the power of spells until I get completely decimated, but with the right armor and the right sword, even the strongest wizards can see their lives in front of their eyes. With that being said, we will get the chance to craft some very powerful weapons in this game, and all thanks to being a physical attack aficionado. Here is how to get Armsmaster Secondary Job in Octopath Traveler 2.

How to Get Armsmaster Secondary Job

The Armsmaster is an available secondary (or secret) job and class that you will be able to unlock in Octopath Traveler 2. As you might have guessed correctly, this job and class will grant your character some job skills that will focus on melee weapons, although it does bring a powerful bow attack. Skill such as the Celestial Roar, Giant Swing, and On the Hunt will provide some very potent attacks for your sword, polearm, and axe (check below how to get those). To unlock this job and class, you will have to travel to Gravell, Wildlands, as seen below.

Once you have arrived at the Blacksmith door, you will find a man blocking the entrance. It is a debt collector, and we all know what we must do. Yes, defeat him. Goodbye, collector. Anyway, once defeated, enter the blacksmith’s shop and greet Porta, the blacksmith. She will introduce yourself, thank you, and then give you the Armsmaster License. As part of your job, you will have to bring her rusty weapons. She will use them and convert them to Divine Weapons.

Go ahead and look for the Rusty Weapons available around the world. There are six: sword, spear, dagger, bow, axe, and staff. If you are wondering which character will fit the bill most, go ahead and pick Hikari, since her physical chops and compatibility complete fits the Armsmaster job and class. Have a good one!
