Players may want to explore the War Seas with a band of players, and to do that players can join and create clans. These clans can sail out, battle other clans, and claim islands as their very own. How to Form Clans in Arcane Odyssey
Clans are bands of players that work together to reap rewards and battle other clans for dominance. To create or join a clan, go into the menu, in the bottom left, and click on the clan button. From that menu, you can either create your own clan for 5,000 galleons, or you can join an existing clan for free – provided they let you join.
There isn’t a whole lot of appeal to join a clan currently, but more features are planned that will make being a part of a clan a much bigger part of the game. Currently, clans can capture islands and fortify them to secure infamy. Infamy will increase the clan’s maximum bank, allowing for a larger budget to improve the clan.
Clans must make payments to increase the maximum number of members allowed in that clan, so starting a powerful clan from the ground up is difficult, but will be very rewarding.

How to Claim Islands in Arcane Odyssey
To claim an island, you simply must have players on there when no other clan is present. As long as there are two different clans on a server, then captured islands will generate infamy of the clan holding an island, or multiple islands. When a clan owns an island, and they are the correct infamy rank, they can build fortifications to hold it against other clans.
The islands that clans can capture are as follows:
- Darkpine Isle
- Harvest Island
- Goso Jungle
- Limestone Key
- Sandfall Isle
- Thorin’s Refuge
- Whispering Caverns
Again, a clan cannot be on an empty server and claim infamy, as there has to be one other active clan on the server.
