How to Fix the Fuse Box in The Chant

One of the best new survival horror titles has definitely got to be Brass Token’s, The Chant. With an eerie cult atmosphere, striking combat gameplay, and complex puzzle-solving, this game really does seem to check all of the boxes of a good horror experience.

But things can be tough early on, especially when you’re looking for Kim at the Cannery. If you need help finding out how to fix the fuse box in The first chapter of The Chant, then we can help! Let’s explain what to do it!

How to Fix the Fuse Box in The Chant

When you first get to the area where you’ll need to find the Electrical Fuse for the Fuse Box, you’ll come across the retreat’s leader, Tyler as he’s escaped Kim. After some short dialogue, you’ll be able to make your way to an area of the Cannery building. On the outside of it, you’ll find a door and to the right of it, the Fuse Box. You’ll need to hook up an Electrical Fuse into the Fuse Box in order to restore power to the hallway near the Fuse Box so that Jess can continue on to look for Kim.

In order to find said Electrical Fuse to click into the Fuse Box, and go through the door. Once inside, you’ll be in a dimly lit room with various lore pieces to pick up and interact with. Interact with the small monitor on the desk facing the windows to trigger a small cutscene.

Next, head to the door on the opposite side of the room that’s got a wooden 2×4 keeping it closed and remove it. Collect the Sage on the table next to it and then go through it to the next room. This room is where you’ll find the Electrical Fuse. You’ll need to defeat the Mandaleech in order to gain access to a closet that holds the Electrical Fuse.

Craft a Sage Stick using the Sage you picked up along with some Twine that’s on a desk in the room, located across from the entrance. Beat the Mandaleech to death using the Sage Stick. Be mindful that can it can send Jess into Panic Attacks. Once dead, pick up the Electrical Fuse from the closet where the Mandaleech was.

This will trigger a cultist to enter the room. Kill it using the Sage Stick as well. They too can cause Jess to have Panic Attacks. Following you dispatching the cultist, return to the Fuse Box outside and place the Electrical Fuse. The new covered bridge path will be open and you’ll be able to move through it.
