Where to Find Maya, Hannah, and Sonny in The Chant

If you ask me, Prime Matter and Brass Token’s The Chant is definitely one of the wild rides that gaming has to offer these days. With supernatural enemies, wild cultists, and a lurking sense of dread, there’s never truly a dull moment in this game’s runtime.

In the game’s opening moments with Jess though, there is some kind of serenity to take in as she enters the Retreat and meets her new family. The question though is, where can you actually find them and get the story going? No worries, as we know where to find all of them; Maya, Hannah, and Sonny! Let’s dive right into it!

Where to Find Maya, Hannah, and Sonny in The Chant

After Jess arrives at the Retreat with Kim, she mentions a few other members’ names in passing as she gives you a ver quick tour of a small portion of the island. The members are Maya, Hannah, and Sonny. You’ll then have a quick conversation with the group’s leader, Tyler. He gives you a little feel for the Retreat and goes on his way. It’s from there where Kim instructs you to actually introduce yourself to the other remaining members in order to get the ball rolling.

Hannah

The first person you’ll want to meet is Hannah. She’s located in the Retreat, outside of Tyler’s tent which is directly across from the orientation cabin near the water. Walk up to her, hit the action button, and you’ll begin to speak with her. She’s then interrupted by Tyler, so you’ll be able to leave her.

Maya

Next, you’ll want to talk to Maya. She’s located in the other building on the water. Before you can really speak with her, she’ll ask you to head out for some supplies. The area for these supplies is just past the Biodome on the right side, just past that big paddleboard.

Head through the middle of the rocks and you’ll need to collect Spirit Cap, Lavender, and Ginger. All of which can be found on that footpath. Just collect one fo each for Maya and return to her with them. Once you’ve finished your dialogue with her, you’ll be able to move onto the next person.

Sonny

Your last member to talk to is Sonny. He can be found in the building situated next to the camping bunk area. Use the door on the side with the tents and speak with him. You will need to choose some dialogue here but nothing more. Once that’s done, you’re ready to head back to Kim in the camping area to get the chanting started!
