How to fix Hogwarts Legacy Stuttering
If you are facing random stuttering and sudden frame drops while playing the game, here are a few solutions.
Ray-Tracing
Nvidia’s Ray-Tracing is an in-build option in the game’s graphics menu. Even if you have a powerful graphics card, you can turn this option off. It may be a big contributor to the slow frames you are getting.

Tweak Graphics Settings
Go to the graphics settings in the game and change the quality to lower ones. For example, if you have Shadow Quality as Ultra, tune it down to High. Save the new settings and check how much of a difference it’s making. If you have to go lower to play smoothly, you can do that. Each system is different, so users have to judge the performance and change the settings.
Enable DLSS (For Nvidia Users)
If you have a new Nvidia RTX card, you can search for the DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) settings. Enable the option for better performance.
Change Resolution
If nothing works, you can try changing the game’s resolution to lower ones. Make sure to maintain the aspect ratio. While this will reduce the visual quality significantly, it will improve the game’s performance drastically.
