Clear Cache
Playing on Steam? These are the steps you can take to clear cache:
- Go into Settings on Steam.

- Put the game back on.

Steam Users
- Go to your Steam Library.

- With the cog selected, click ‘Manage‘. This will bring up more options.
- Select ‘Uninstall‘.
Xbox Users
- Go to ‘My Games and Apps‘ on the Home screen.
- Select Destiny 2 from your list.
- Click Menu and select ‘Manage Game Option‘.
- Select ‘Uninstall All.’ You will be prompted again, click ‘Uninstall‘ when you are.
PlayStation Users
- On the Home screen, go up using the D-pad controls. Go to Settings.
- Scroll to ‘System Storage Management‘ and click on it.
- Click on ‘Applications‘.
- Scroll until you find Destiny 2. Press Options and then ‘Delete‘ and ‘Select All‘.
- Confirm the decision by clicking ‘Delete’ option once more and finally click ‘Ok‘.
To reinstall on console, you require the physical game disc. Simply put the disc back into the console to begin its installation once more. If you purchase this game digitally, go to the purchase page of the game via the store page on PlayStation, Xbox and PC and click ‘Install‘.
