How to Find and Defeat Da Capo in Chained Echoes

There many Achievements to unlock in Chained Echoes. One of which is the ‘Endangered Species’ Achievement in which players need to defeat the 15 Unique Monsters which act as Bosses across Valandis. After defeating the Unique Monsters, players can move onto finding the Elemental Tablets which are guarded by the Chained Echoes Super Bosses. By doing this, you will gain access to the final Boss Fight of this JRPG, God King Gaemdriel. For those looking to find the Unique Monster, Da Capo, this guide will show you where to find and how to beat this Monster.

Where to Find Da Capo

This Unique Monster is one of the two Bosses found inside the Flower Fields of Perpetua. You should head to the south-west side of the Flower Fields of Perpetua. Use the Teleport Crystal on the west side to fast-travel to the part of the Region you need to be in. Head south, crossing over a loading screen. The first floating Island you see here has a small cave which leads to Ograne Grottos. Da Capo will appear outside on this cave, on the Island. However, this Unique Monster may not appear the first time around. Therefore, you need to go inside the caves, and leave again. Da Capo should show themselves this time. If not, repeat the process. How to Defeat Da Capo

Da Capo uses moves that inflict Sleep, Poison or Silence on a single Clan member. Should any become effected, you should have other members to swap out for another member. This Unique Monster deals dark damage, however you should not lose any members in this Battle. With a weakness against fire, opt to use moves that it is weak against. You can easily overwhelm Da Capo by fighting in your Sky Armor. You should have an easy time taking this one down if you progress through the story naturally and search for Da Capo upon entering the Flower Fields of Perpetua. Use your strongest moves against Da Capo and you will be able to defeat this Unique Monster with ease.

With its little damage output, you do not need to worry about having a Clan member on your team to heal your party. Therefore, pick your heavy hitters such as Robb or Leanne to quickly take down Da Capo.
