In Genshin Impact you need to find materials in order to level up characters and sometimes gathering items is a pain. In Tears of the Kingdom, you need to gather Warm Darner to help you tremendously when evading harsh weather. These little guys have a particular component and when you craft them you can create elixirs to raise your core temperature. It’s a useful elixir to have handy in case you don’t have armor that can shield you from the cold air. Here’s where you can farm Warm Darner in Tears of the Kingdom.

Where is Warm Darner Located in Tears of the Kingdom?

Warm Darner are insects that fly around in Tears of the Kingdom. They have magical properties and when you use them on a fire to make elixirs you can create an extra layer of protection. If you don’t have armor to help evade getting frostbite you can look into crafting elixirs to help boost your protection against the cold weather.

Warm Darners are located at Akkala Highlands and Hyrule Field. If you’re not looking to farm for Warm Darner you can always buy them for 10 rupees from Maypin at the Gerudo Canyon Stable. Hoarding these bugs is incredibly useful because if you combine them with other materials you can create a warm elixir.

How to keep warm in Tears of the Kingdom

If you don’t have armor such as the Snowquill armor set you can always try making elixirs to help boost your cold resistance. There are a few elixirs you can craft that will require you to have monster parts and material parts. The spicy elixir can be made by using a Warm Darner or a Summerwing Butterfly and a monster part.

If you aren’t sure where to find Summerwing Butterflies you can purchase them from Beedle at Tabantha Bridge Stable. There are also some great cold resistance recipes you can craft in order to keep warm. If you cook spicy peppers sizzlefin trout or warm safflina you can make spicy food that has a higher cold resistance.
