With straightforward goals like looting five chests or opening your Tac-map and pinging a contract, the first run of DMZ may function as somewhat of a tutorial. You take your first significant step into the DMZ when you storm the stronghold and extract the White Lotus intel.
You must first finish the “tutorial” tasks mentioned above in order to start this mission. Following completion of this mission, you will be able to participate in tier 2 missions for the Legion faction and tier 1 missions for the White Lotus faction.
The Search For White Lotus
The mission, storm the stronghold, is divided into three phases, Finishing with “Extract the White Lotus intel.” You must first locate a stronghold key.
Acquire the Key
There are multiple methods for acquiring keys. A stronghold key may be dropped by AI troops who are nearby the stronghold. The alternative is to spend $5,000 to purchase a key from a nearby store. After obtaining your key, head to the closest stronghold and start eliminating AI.
Clear the Stronghold
You will encounter armored along with a few AI with riot shields within the stronghold. It is advised to bring a team so that one member may occupy the target while the other eliminates them. In order to combat riot shields, it is also advised to pack grenades you can stick to opponents.
Extract the Intel
Once the stronghold has been defeated, you may plunder inside. “White Lotus Intel” can be found among the AI’s rewards. To extract, gather the White Lotus intel, and travel to the closest exfil site. To avoid potentially hostile operators, you can also exfil by completing a hostage contract.
After successfully extracting the White Lotus intel, you will have accomplished the objective “Storming the Stronghold.” This now allows you access to tier 2 Legion missions and the tier 1 White Lotus missions, as was previously mentioned.
