How to evolve the pentagram in Vampire Survivors

Evolve and Survive!

It’s all about survival of course in Vampire Survivors. With the many weapons at your disposal perhaps none can help get you out of a pinch quite like the Pentagram. Its ability to insta-kill a selected area close by can provide a decent reprieve or escape widow if played right. At higher levels, it does even more damage and coverage which is always a blessing. You can also Evolve this weapon into an even more powerful one known as the Gorgeous Moon. So how do you level up and max out your Pentagram so it’s ready to evolve into a Gorgeous Moon? Here’s how to evolve the Pentagram in Vampire Survivors.

Evolving the Pentagram

First, to evolve your Pentagram you’ll need to max out its level. The Pentagram’s maximum level is 8 but you should be able to level it pretty fast with use. Next, you’ll need to obtain the passive item: Crown. Once you have the Crown, it will increase your XP gain, which will help you level the Pentagram up faster as well. You unlock the Crown after reaching level 10 with any characters.

Once you’ve met those two requirements, the next treasure chest you open from an enemy drop will automatically evolve your Pentagram into Gorgeous Moon. Once you’ve obtained Gorgeous Moon you’ll have an even more devastating insta-kill area sweeping attack. What’s better however is where the Pentagram destroyed everything, including items and gems, Gorgeous Moon doesn’t.

Using Gorgeous moon to destroy enemies but keep everything they drop will really change the game for you. You’ll gather more and better items and gems faster with no downside. It’s a very good reward for all your hard work of leveling up and obtaining the right items beforehand.
