What is Penitence Mode in Cult of the Lamb?

In this new feature added to Cult of the Lamb, you’re given new bars that determine how hungry or tired you are. If you’re not sure where this bar is located be sure to check out your UI in the top right corner. You’ll start to notice a timer is set once your settings are too low, and if you ignore this countdown, your life will permanently end. This means the game will end and the journey to becoming the best cult leader in town is finished.

If you want to unlock Penitence Mode you’re going to want to do a few things. First, you’re going to want to make sure that you have unlocked the character Webber. If you’re not sure how to unlock Webber, don’t worry, all you need to do is bury a spider skull in a grave. When Webber appears, after you’ve buried the skull, you’ll be able to have them join your cult and Penitence Mode will be unlocked.
