How to Earn A Score of 6000 Using A Driver With A Hat

First thing’s first, you need to know which characters wear hats. This is pretty obvious just by looking at them, but here’s a list anyway:

  • Mario (Musician)
  • Baby Mario
  • Metal Mario
  • Mario
  • Diddy Kong
  • Wario

Look for a course where one of the hat wearing driver’s is considered top tier. A good course for this is 3DS Toad Circuit, as an example. Make sure you have top tier driver, glider, and kart for maximum efficiency.

Now, simply play the course on 150cc, or 200cc if you have the gold pass, and do your best. Be sure to use item tickets on your down time as the 3 extra items will give you a nice point boost.

One final tip is to build up combos by chaining together actions like mini boosts, drifting, jumping, collecting coins, and picking up items. Obviously a frenzy will give you a nice point boost as well. If you fail to get 6000, you can always try again without penalty.
